Base Engine Warranty
The Cummins Base Engine Warranty applies to new EPA 2017 and later B/B6.7 and ISB Series diesel engines.
This warranty covers:
Failures caused by material or factory workmanship defects during normal use
Coverage that begins on the date of sale and lasts 3 years after delivery to the first user
Engine after-treatment components listed on the Cummins Critical Parts List (CPL) with official Cummins part numbers
With this warranty, you can drive with confidence knowing your engine is backed by Cummins quality.
Emission Warranty
The Emission Warranty applies to new B and ISB Series diesel, LPG, and natural gas engines designed by Cummins for transporting goods or passengers on Canadian roads.
Coverage includes:
Engines delivered to the first user after October 1, 1996
Assurance that the engine complies with U.S. federal emission regulations at the time of sale
Warranty protection against defects in materials or workmanship that would cause emission failures
The warranty period is the longer of:
Five years or 160,000 km from the date of delivery to the first user, OR
The duration of the Base Engine Warranty
